Bernard Height is a rising saxophonist who strives to use his anointing to musical communicate with listeners from all walks. Height has the drive to be a constant student in his craft. Listening to his music, one will experience a fusion of contemporary jazz and gospel influences. He grew up in Redlands, CA, and studied under the late Phillip Moore at the University of Redlands School of Music. He attributes the shaping of his craft from playing in the church. He is committed to remaining a student of music and steadily adding dimensions to his music from various genres and other musical influences. Currently, Bernard Height has been blessed with the opportunity to play the Apollo in Harlem, NY. God has opened the door for him to play in the Apollo Amateur Night Competition 2014, 2016, 2019 seasons. He is passionate about being an encouragement to anyone out there who is trying to articulate their calling each day in whatever it is God has called them to stand and give God the glory.
